Cathédrale Saint-Louis - La Rochelle/France

 

The cathedral is a three-aisle basilica with ambulatory,
transept and side chapel.
The baroque-classical church building was completed in 1857.
The cathedral is bishop seat of the diocese La Rochelle-Saintes.

Cathédrale Saint-François-de-Sales– Chambéry/Frankreich

 

The building dates from 15th century, when it was constructed as a Franciscan church.
1779 the church was raised to the statue of a cathedral.
The three-aisle basilica is 78 m long, 34 m wide and 23 m high.

Église Saint Cornély – Carnac/Frankreich

 

In the year 1960 the three nave renaissance church was classified as a historic building. On the west façade there is a statue of Saint Cornelius. The 40 m high church tower has a rectangular floor plan and a long pyramidal tip.

Basilica of Saint Nicholas in Grudziądz/Poland

 

The basilica of Saint Nicholas in Grudziądz is a gothic brick church, which was built in the 13th and 14th century. Inside the church there are frescos of the 14th century, the romanesque font dates of the second half of the 13th century. The church was destroyed several times lastly in the Second Word War.

Eglise Notre Dame, Belleville-sur-Saone/France

 

The Eglise Notre Dame de Belleville is a church of the 12th century. Originally it was a component of an Augustinian's abbey. The representations of the mortal sins on the capitals in the nave earn a special attention; also the geometrical motives which are in the Romanesque main porch of the actually Gothic church. The church received their tower in the 13th century.

The Benedictine's abbey was built in 1909-1910 in the neoromanesque style with minster and crypt according to the model of the abbey Cluny and is a place of interest in the Grand Duchy Luxembourg. The abbey attained fame by their altars from the 16th century.
